I finally finished watching Castle Rock on Hulu with B&H. Holy shit. This show was insane. I wanted more answers and did not get them but I'm not even mad. Molly ends up using her random ass powers to find Henry in the woods and the deaf dude Odin is dead with a poker in his eye. Who did it? Don't know. This couple that checked out the house with Molly decide to rent it out as a B&B that has a murder theme because fuck it. The husband Gordon decorates the place with crime scenes from the past using creepy ass mannequins while his wife wants to bone down and he is like “No...not yet.” The wife, Lilith, looked familiar and I searched her up and have seen her in a few movies and shows. She looks like a kitty cat which is my jammy jam. It turns out that they are making a new start after she slept with one of Gordon's coworkers at college. Some people come by and Gordon is pissed they don't give a fuck about his creepy stories and just wanna fuck because they are both married...to other people. Later that night they are having the kind of sex that makes the neighbors call the cops. Gordon can't sleep because he's a hater and goes up there and murders the fuck out of them. Lilith helps him hide the body parts because she can't say anything because she cheated. An affair and double-murder and kinda the same, right?

The Kid talks to Henry and tells him that Ruth killed Alan and how he waited years to find Henry. Henry's son calls the cops and the Kid disappears into the woods. The police fucking hate Henry and say that wherever he goes death follows. They call him Black Death. In the basement of the house is a room full of painting of the Kid. This is the warden who hung himself and drove off a cliff's house. Henry sneaks in one night and sees all the paintings and checks the dates. They go back to the early 90's and the kid never ages and in the earliest one is wearing the same sweater that Henry had on in his missing child poster. Gordon finds him an instead of explaining what he is doing Henry stammers and tries to leave. Knife attack! Lilith comes out with a blade trying to cut up Henry! Gordon jumps in and Lilith ends up getting stabbed in the neck. Henry has a wound on his side and races to his car to be yanked out by Gordon. They fight and Henry has the fighting ability of a newborn puppy gets saved by Jackie who puts an ax into Gordon's skull. Oh, I also realized that Jackie is related to Jack Torrance from The Shining.

The Kid meets up with Molly and explains that he is actually Henry Deaver. PLOT TWIST!!! In another reality he is the child of Ruth and Matthew, not Henry. He is also named Henry Deaver. The fuck is happening?! In his reality Ruth left her husband and moved to Boston where White Henry grew up to be a successful...something. He is working on Alzheimer's treatment and has a wife he hopes is pregnant. Meanwhile back in Castle Rock Matthew adopts young Black Henry as a child. In present day Matthew kills himself and White Henry finds Black Henry in a cage in the house. Black Henry talks about voices in the woods and he needs to see them. Molly and White Henry take Black Henry away from the police and he ends up running into the woods flipping back and forth between realities. Molly ends up shot and killed and White Henry and Black Henry end up in the same reality and this is how things start. I did a bad job explaining this but the shit is confusing.

Molly tells Henry what she learned from the Kid regarding this alternate reality. The Kid and Henry are both put into jail and the Kid tells Henry they must get to the woods. Henry's son who got off a bus after leaving Castle Rock returns and he has the same crazy ear ringing shit happening. This bus full of prisoners that was heading to fight the fires in town end up hitting and killing the new warden. The prisoners are taken to the same jail where Henry and the Kid are so they are put in the same cell together. The prisoners start talking that shit until the Kid uses his Rascal Dazzle and the prisoners start fighting the guards and the Kid ends up getting the keys and they escape.

In the lobby everyone is dead. They find the young dude that was helping the older deaf guy tells Henry not to go outside. So of course Henry does. The Kid holds Henry at gunpoint and forces him to head to the woods with him so he can leave this reality. Henry starts having flashes of his past that he forgot and sees that he really did shove his father off the cliff almost killing him for wanting to kill his mother, Ruth. Henry attacks a distracted Kid who turns into a monster for a split second. It is a year later and Henry is a property manager in Castle Rock while Molly moved to Florida doing real estate. Henry heads to Shawshank which is closed and he has the Kid locked in the same cage again. The Kid tells Henry that he is going to end up like the warden that kept him locked up. Henry leaves as the Kid starts smiling.

This show was fucking crazy. I know that it made more questions than gave answers but it was fun to figure things out as I went along. Even after the show was finished we used random information we knew about different mythologies that could possibly solve some mysteries. I like the way I watched this with three episodes per week because if I had the chance to watch this whole season in a day or two I would've missed even more information. This show was well acted. The music was good. The tone stayed consistent which I always appreciate. If Hulu has a bunch of good shows like this I am for sure dumping my Netflix and getting it.
